The Very Thought of You

Media Credit: Mellow by Carlen Arevalo

I look down at the page and it’s all you, your name written all over it again and again. People say

you are fully your own but with the amount of thoughts I have of you I would say my head and

my heart are entirely yours. Usually I would be afraid of that, but I’m not. Just how pirates were

drawn to sirens at sea, drown me with your love, I'm already standing in your ocean. What a

curious thing that the very thought of you provides me with enough warmth for the week. You

alone could give me substance for my whole life and I would still want more for the next life.

When our sun inevitably dies out they could replace it with your smile and they would not notice

the difference.
